Renata Hellmeister de Abreu (known as Renata Abreu ) is a Brazilian lawyer, businesswoman, and politician , born on April 15, 1982, in São Paulo (SP) . A graduate in Law from Mackenzie University and with experience in the social sector before entering institutional politics, she is the daughter of former federal deputy José de Abreu and grew up involved in cultural and inclusion activities through the Centro de Tradições Nordestinas (CTN) , an organization created by her family. In 2017, she founded and became the national president of the Podemos party , boosting its expansion and advocating for transparency, citizen participation, and the fight against corruption.
In her political career , Renata Abreu was first elected federal deputy for São Paulo in 2015 and re-elected in 2018 and 2022 , currently serving her third term in the 57th Legislature (2023–2027) representing Podemos-SP . Throughout her parliamentary career, she has stood out for leading initiatives for women's rights, education, and social inclusion ; she is the general coordinator of the Women's Caucus in the House of Representatives and is among the parliamentarians listed as "100 Most Influential" in the National Congress by DIAP.
