Padovani

Nelson Fernando Padovani was born on October 29, 1977, in Cascavel, Paraná. He graduated in Business Administration, specializing in Soil Fertility and Business Management and Succession from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Before joining the House of Representatives, he worked as an entrepreneur in the agribusiness, clean energy, and agricultural machinery dealership sectors, which gave him a strong connection to the productive base of the western region of Paraná.

Political career

In his political career, Padovani was elected federal deputy for Paraná by the UNIÃO Brasil party, assuming office for the 2023-2027 legislature. He follows a family tradition, being the son of former deputy Nelson Padovani, which helped pave his electoral base in Cascavel and the surrounding region.

Performance in the National Congress

In the National Congress, Padovani positions himself as a defender of property rights, legal security, religious freedom, freedom of expression, and freedom of the press—priority issues for his mandate. He is a full member of the Economic Development Committee of the House of Representatives and represents Brazil in the Mercosur Parliament (PARLASUR). According to official House of Representatives records, in 2025, Padovani authored 132 proposals in the year and has not yet been listed as a rapporteur for any projects.
