Trajectory
Euclydes Pettersen was born in Minas Gerais and built his professional career in the private sector, working as a businessman before entering public life. With strong ties to the interior of the state, he consolidated his political image through discourse focused on regional development, the defense of social policies, and the improvement of public services, especially in the areas of health and mobility.
In his political career, he was elected federal deputy for Minas Gerais , joining the Republicanos party, through which he became part of the Minas Gerais delegation in the House of Representatives. From the beginning of his term, he maintained alignment with conservative agendas on customs and focused on practical issues of the population's daily life, seeking legislative projection through the presentation of bills and participation in debates related to health, traffic, education, and social protection.
In the National Congress, Euclydes Pettersen is the author of several proposals, including PL 105/2025 , which includes essential amino acid formulas in the SUS (Brazilian Public Health System); PL 3120/2025 , which makes travel insurance mandatory for Brazilians traveling internationally; PL 3121/2025 , which prohibits the offering of Occupational Therapy courses exclusively in distance learning mode; PL 3254/2025 , which increases the liability of offending drivers in accidents with victims; PL 5254/2025 , which toughens penalties for traffic crimes committed under the influence of alcohol or drugs; PL 5423/2025 , which authorizes the start of driver training from the age of 17; and PL 6357/2025 , which expands the availability of the HPV vaccine to all age groups in the SUS. and Bill 378/2024 , which creates the National Registry of Convicted Individuals for Crimes against the Sexual Dignity of Children and Adolescents. These initiatives demonstrate its work in public health, traffic safety, education, and the protection of vulnerable groups.
