Trajectory
Eros Ferreira Biondini was born on May 20, 1971, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and completed postgraduate studies in Legislative Power at PUC Minas. In addition to being a politician, he is also a Catholic singer, presenter, and leader of evangelization initiatives; he is the founder of the Mundo Novo Community, linked to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
His political career began at the state level: in 2006 he was elected state deputy for Minas Gerais by the PHS party, serving on committees such as Tourism and Popular Participation. In 2010, he won a federal mandate with the PTB party, receiving over 208,000 votes, and has since held the position for successive terms, alternating party affiliations (moving between PTB, PROS, and currently PL). During his time in the Minas Gerais state government, he was appointed to head the Secretariat of Sports and Youth.
In the National Congress, Eros Biondini focuses his work on issues related to faith, family, freedom of expression, and Christian values, but he also presents proposals with a broader scope. He is the author of Bill 2,676/2021 , which established the National Day of the Men's Rosary , sanctioned as Law No. 14,558 on April 25, 2023. He also proposed Bill 4501/2024 , which provides for the formation of a Sovereign Strategic Reserve of Bitcoins by the Federal Government. In addition, he is working on a Proposed Amendment to the Constitution that reduces the minimum age for candidacy for the Senate and the Presidency to 30 years, as part of his political renewal strategy. In votes, Eros has maintained a high level of party discipline; for example, in 2024 he was aligned with the party's guidelines in approximately 94.57% of the votes he participated in.
