Trajectory
Daniela Cristina Reinehr is a lawyer, rural producer, former military police officer, and federal deputy for Santa Catarina, elected by the Liberal Party (PL) for the 2023–2027 legislature . Born on April 4, 1977 , in Maravilha (SC), she began her career in public service as a military police officer before completing her law degree and working as a lawyer in the business, civil, and administrative areas. She was vice-governor of Santa Catarina (2019–2023) and even served as interim governor of the state , being the first woman to lead the Santa Catarina Executive branch on an interim basis. Her political trajectory is marked by the defense of conservative principles, close ties to the productive sector, and support for agendas related to economic development and legal security in the countryside.
In her institutional political work in Brasília, Daniela Reinehr has played an active role in permanent committees of the House of Representatives, holding positions in groups such as the Committee for the Defense of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities , the Committee for National Integration and Regional Development , the Committee for Agriculture, Livestock, Supply and Rural Development , and the Committee for Economic Development , in addition to being a member of the Special Committee on Obstetric Violence and Maternal Mortality . She was also elected 1st vice-president of the Special Committee on the Brazilian Port System , expanding her participation in port infrastructure and logistics issues. Her institutional work reflects a focus on regional issues in Santa Catarina, agribusiness, social inclusion, and the efficiency of the state apparatus.
In her legislative work , Daniela Reinehr has presented, reported on, and defended proposals that address issues ranging from legal security in rural areas to education and social protection. Among the bills she has authored or initiated are PL 1294/2025 , which extends the deadline for georeferencing rural properties, reducing bureaucratic legal requirements for small and medium-sized producers; PL 1456/2025 , which updates labor regulations specific to the agricultural production cycle; and PL 815/2025 , which proposes changes to the Statute of Children and Adolescents to prohibit inappropriate content in schools. She also filed a Draft Legislative Decree (PDL 921/2025) to suspend a federal decree that, in her assessment, threatens special education institutions such as APAEs (Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional Children), and reported on proposals such as PDL 21/2025 , which suspends the expropriation of a productive farm in Espírito Santo, in addition to favorable opinions on the modernization of environmental regulations and the Legal Framework for Itinerant Tourism. Among other proposals she authored are projects dealing with legal certainty in the Penal Code, rules for the Rural Land Tax (ITR), restrictions on welfare benefits for foreigners, and adjustments to fiscal responsibility regulations. Her legislative work combines defense of the productive sector with conservative themes and regional demands.
