Trajectory
Adail José Figueiredo Pinheiro , better known as Adail Filho , was born on February 16, 1992 , in Manaus (AM) . He has an informal education, with some higher education, and works as a businessman .
Adail Filho entered public life as mayor of Coari (AM) , elected in 2016 with 21,360 votes and re-elected in 2020 with 22,220 votes, becoming the youngest and most voted mayor in the municipality's history. However, his second term was revoked by the Electoral Court for constituting a continuation of family power, in violation of Brazilian electoral law.
In 2022 , Adail Filho was elected federal deputy for Amazonas , receiving 90,028 votes (approximately 4.5% of valid votes), the seventh most voted in the state. He took office on February 1, 2023 .
In December 2024 , he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Legislative Merit by the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas, in recognition of his work for the benefit of the state, with important actions such as the delivery of equipment, the reopening of a river-based primary health care unit, and the approval of a bill that increases the penalty for bodily harm against women in the presence of family members.
He is the author of Bill 3847/23 , which increases the penalty for bodily harm against women when committed in the presence of the victim's children or parents — a bill that was approved.
He served as rapporteur for Bill 211/2023 , which proposes the creation of Specialized Animal Protection Police Stations , and Bill 3886/2023 , which establishes the National Policy for the Treatment and Free Provision of Medications for Obesity.
